The Indian Comic Book Industry today is plagued by one big problem; non availability of the comics to the reader due to an archaic distribution system. We at Arkin Ventures believe that it’s time to take matters into our own hands if we want to change the industry. India is a land of great talent producing fabulous art. We have fantastic comic book illustrators, colourists and writers who are hardly recognised due to the current state of the Indian Comic Book Industry.

Akrin Comics has started a rebellion against the old and ineffective distribution network. We have devised a way through which the comic book readers and fans act as Arkin Agents and form a totally new distribution network. This network enables the fans to be a part of the Indian Comic Book Industry and become an integral part the process of making easy access to comics available to readers all over the country, month after month, release after release.

 

WHAT IS ARKIN ELITE?

ARKIN ELITE is an exclusive team of members who would act as Arkin Agents and play an integral part in the new distribution method introduced by ARKIN COMICS.

Interested candidates will be required to register with Arkin Comics for a nominal fee and complete the other formalities by filling up the form and providing all mandatory information and documents. The Arkin Agents will be then choosen by the authority of Arkin Ventures Pvt. Ltd. through a fair and unbiased selection process.

The main motive of Arkin Elite is to make sure that everyone, no matter which part of the country the person is in, has easy access to buy comic books. Since the current distribution cycle for comic books in India is quite redundant and ineffective, Arkin Elite will change the norms, revive the interest and establish a new, proactive and refined distribution chain.

The members who are a part of Arkin Elite will be no less than warriors, fighting the old system to bring about a new, brighter tomorrow. They will also be treated as elite warriors by Arkin. All agents will be given exclusive merchandise, they will be the privileged few to get a sneak peak of all forthcoming Arkin Titles before anyone else. The Arkin Elite may also have a vote before the introduction of any new title. Not only this, Arkin Elite will be actively involved with Arkin Comics, with special invitations to all public releases, press conferences and other activities. To top it all, the Arkin Elite will also be eligible for discounts on Arkin Comics and Arkin Customs. Could you ask for more?
     
 

HOW DOES ARKIN ELITE WORK?

The members of ARKIN ELITE purchase books from ARKIN COMICS at special discount of 45% on each book.
The members must purchase minimum 20 (twenty) copies of each title to be eligible for this special discount.
They then re-sell the purchased books in schools, colleges, IT companies, book stores and wherever possible at MRP of the books.
We have deviced a city wise break up plan for the Agents,
this will be provided to you after you enroll into ARKIN ELITE.


  
 

WHAT ARKIN DOES FOR YOU?

ll members of ARKIN ELITE will be given a badge of being recognised as an Arkin Agent. This badge gives the member the right to sell ARKIN comics in bulk. A list of all book stores and recomended target locations of the member’s city will be given, which would help in selling of the comic books. During book fairs at any member’s city in which Arkin Comics is participating, the first preference will be given to the unsold books of the members of that particular city.

If any member comes up with a good promotional idea in his city, the Arkin team from our studio will go to his city with ARKIN banners, t-shirts, posters and goodies, and help in promotion, sales and branding.

If you are the only candidate from your city to be in the ARKIN ELITE team, you would be the only agent having the distribution rights of Arkin Comics in your city.

1. What is the minimum age limit to join ARKIN ELITE?
- The minimum age limit to join ARKIN ELITE is 15 years. All candidates below the age of 18 years must have their parent’s or legal guardian’s signed consent form along with the registration form.

2. How can I be sure that I will have a profit after buying the books?
- Arkin Comics is giving you a special discount of 45% on all its titles if the member purchases books more than 20 nos., which is the minimum requirement.
For eg : If you purchase 50 books of one title priced Rs.35 each, you pay
Rs. 787 for the entire set of books. You are paying just Rs. 17.5 per book.
When you sell these 50 books at their MRP, the total amount you get is Rs. 1750. So, the profit you made is Rs. 787. This is an example of the minimum amount you will earn per title !

3.Do I have to travel a lot to sell the books?
-No. All you have to do is make sure you give the books at a few bookstores
close to your house. The book stores might take 20% of the MRP as their
charge and they don’t keep less than 10 copies of a title.

4.What if there is more than one agent in my city, do I make a profit?
-Referring to the previous answer, one agent would be covering only a few
bookstores in his locality. And, there would be other bookstores near your
area where you could be the only distributor of Arkin Comics.

5.What are the other special offers that I am eligible apart from a discount?
An Arkin Agent is very special for us. We will give you exclusive Arkin
merchandize and other discounts and value added benefits which would
definitely make you feel proud to be part of this wonderful industry and
more importantly make you feel one-of-a-kind.
